Nailitques Avocado Foot Crème ($15.00)

This cream from Nailtiques is awesome in both the scent, and moisturizing texture. It feels like a like whipped mousse, as opposed to a heavy cream. It sinks into the skin quickly without leaving a greasy residue. After using a few nights with socks, my feet feel much softer and more hydrated. The fresh scent doesn’t compete with other scented products I wear, nor does it linger. I have to also comment on the packaging. I’ve never seen a more luxurious jar of foot cream! The heavy frosted plastic looks great on the bathroom counter and it’s a pleasure to reach for it after a bath.

I’m not one that will try new hair products often. I’ve never colored my hair, and I could
count on one hand the number of times I’ve been to an actual salon. (The last time was
my wedding day back in 2007; I left the salon crying). I stick to the products I know I can
trust, and these are my current Hair Hero’s that are in heavy rotation:

Carol’s Daughter Monoi Repairing Mask- ($32.00)

I absolutely love this brand. I started using this mask almost 2 years ago when I decided
to let my hair go natural. I’m now 2 years into my perm-free hair, and I’m surprised how
well it has recovered. I’m giving some credit to this awesome mask. My hair feels strong
and soft after every use. Like most things from Carol’s Daughter, this mask smells
amazing, and it’s paraben free. Monoi oil is derived from the Tahitian gardenia flower,
and mixed with coprah coconut oil. As coconut oil is really having a moment in the
beauty industry, I’m curious to add it to my beauty routine, and not just my diet.

Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment- ($33.00)

If you’re trying to work a hair treatment into your busy schedule, this is an awesome
mask. Unlike most hair masks, this one goes on before you wash. The directions state
to leave on at least 20 minutes, and even overnight. It smells like chocolate, and has a
hard texture out of the tub. In your hands it warms to a creamy oil consistency that
absorbs into my hair rather quickly. It’s easy to walk around the house with this mask in,
as it doesn’t drip or transfer easily. This one is perfect for multitasking beauties.

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment- ($40.00)

The packaging of this recently had a facelift, so if you’re searching for it may look alittle
different now. This hair oil is a desert island favorite for me. If I could only choose one
treatment to recommend, this is the one. I’ve used it on wet hair to tame frizz, dry hair
to add shine, and even as a light mask before shampooing. It’s a very thick oil, but my
hair absorbs it well without looking greasy. It’s a must-try for anyone with naturally
curly hair that looks dull and dry.

Moroccan Oil Frizz Control- ($33.00)

For everyday shine, this oil mist is my go-to spritz. It keeps my hair from going frizzy,
adds shine, and doesn’t weigh down curls. It’s infused with Argan oil and Vitamin E, and
although it smells a bit herbal at first, once dry, I don’t detect any scent. This treatment
is perfect for spraying on finished heat styled hair because the spray bottle delivers an
ultra fine mist with excellent distribution.
