The 5 Product Face Vol. 1

The 5 Product Face Vol. 1

On the weekends, I try to keep makeup minimal and give my skin a break. The 5 product face is the bare minimum of products I need to feel polished enough to walk out the door. The things I reach for are quick and easy to apply. I usually use whatever I’ve left out on the counter from the previous few days, but I do try to keep the application steps under 5. I never wear primers on the weekend; I have no need for super long lasting formulas. This is just what I threw on this past weekend to do a few errands.

5 Product face1.2

1. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation- #7.5 ($62.00)

This is one of my all-time favorite foundations. It’s lightweight, sheer coverage is perfect for a good-skin day. It leaves a dewy finish on the skin, and I wear this year-round when I want minimal makeup.

2. Becca Beach Tint- Dragonfruit ($25.00)

I have quite a few of these lovely little Becca Beach Tints. The cream formula is meant for both lips and cheeks, and I’ve used it for both in this look. The Beach Tints are a true stain. I find it lasts all day on my cheeks and for several hours on the lips. These little tubes are great for brush-free application, just squeeze, dab, and go. Another bonus: it smells amazing and is water resistant, great to pack in a summer beach bag.

3. Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara ($28.50)

I’ve only used this mascara for a week or so, and I love the results. I prefer a dryer formula when it comes to mascara, and this one is certainly dry. The natural bristle wand clings to every lash adding volume and length. I don’t often buy wands that are curved, but I was curious to try this one. Because it was a curling formula, I thought it was fitting that I try a curved wand. I’m not sure the application was easier for me, but my lashes remained curled all day without flaking or fallout.

4. Lancome Color Design Shadow- Vintage ($20.00)

The Lancome shadow in Vintage is a matte taupe brown. Because this brown is cool toned with some ashy undertones, I can use this shade in my brows. I also put a bit in my upper lash-line to give my eyes a little definition.

5. NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting PowderTranslucent Crystal ($36.00)

A perfect pairing with the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, this powder sets my makeup without adding color or cake-face. It never looks like powder on the skin, nor does it oxidize my foundation. I love this product in both the loose and pressed versions. If you need a lightweight setting powder that won’t erase your luminous glow, give this one a try.
