Jouer: Sunday Brunch

Jouer: Sunday Brunch

Jouer is a smaller brand I’ve been using for several years now. They’re known for click-together compacts that are perfect for travel. I have several of these pre-made collections, but all of their makeup can be stacked and interchanged in a moment’s notice.

The Sunday Brunch Collection is a new one to my collection, and I used this past weekend with pretty good results.

The blush in the shade Blossom is a peachy-pink with a satin finish. While not the longest lasting blush on the cheeks, I do think it’s decent and the color is lovely.

This is one of the few collections that come with a highlighting shade. This one is called Tiare and it’s pale gold in color. The creamy formula is lightweight and long lasting on the skin. It made my cheeks glowing without looking greasy and I like this highlighter formula so much I’ve recently purchased another shade in Champagne.

I believe one of the strongest products for Jouer, are the eyeshadows. Every color I’ve purchased is soft and blends easily. The shade in this collection is Caramel, and it’s a soft golden brown. It’s not much on the eye, but it adds a satin finish that is perfect for a quick everyday look.

The gloss that comes with this kit is Sunset, and it’s a bronzy nude with shimmer. While nice on it’s own, I paired it up with the Jouer lipstick in Monique. The gloss on the lips is a thin formula, and it didn’t last well. On top of a lipstick, the longevity is much better, and it does add moisture to the lips.

For the complete look, I’m also wearing:

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Syracuse -($45.00)

Jouer Mattifying Bronzer in Sunswept -($30.00)

Jouer Hydrating Lipstick in Monique- ($24.00)

Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara- ($28.50)

Rimmel London ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Stick in Bootleg Brown- ($4.50)
